The Secret Vision of Wassily Kandinsky (2008) time lapse animation, HD video, 3’ 51”
The photo animation represents the light-shadow phenomenons of a room and their artificial modifications. The camera’s two properties (reproductivity and productivity) show up simultaneously: the camera records a moment, but on the film the phases don’t appear in the way they used to (in the reality). In this manner the light-shadow shapes can lose their original meanings but they can gain new ones.
